Body Positive Book Club

The book: Sing Anyway by Anita Kelly. A fat-positive queer romance novella set in a karaoke bar where a non-binary history professor and a shy receptionist find connection and courage to pursue love beyond past heartbreaks. Drivers of Hope Support Group

Expressive Arts Group

In this expressive arts group, you will increase self-awareness. You are an expert in knowing who you are. We practice self-empathy, explore our own expressions and find strength, hope, and affirmation in a supportive way. Guided by Kumi. 

Health Talks!

Come discuss shared health concerns and how to find healthcare that works for you. Led by Kelda, EMT, with 3 years’ experience in outpatient health care. 

Journaling & Poetry as Personal Expression Workshops
Saturday, 9/12 12pm-1:30pm

Join this workshop for journaling, poetry, and creative writing for personal self-expression. No journaling or writing experience necessary. Guided by Donna.

Let’s Write!
Friday, 9/25, 11am-noon

The writing process can be a satisfying way to communicate your thoughts. Through exercises and prompts, this friendly group will help you write new material and explore new ideas (and to share if you want). No previous creative writing experience needed. Meditation Group

Nonviolent Compassionate Communication Learning Group
Tuesdays, 2-4pm; Thursdays, 6-8pm

Open Art Maker Space

Sewing Group

For women to sew or mend with a machine or by hand. Make or mend bags, clothing, etc. No experience needed. Materials provided. Guided by Karlotta.

Stitch & Chat Knitting Group

Stitch and chat! Community led. Bring your own supplies, share with others, or use what's provided by CWC. Casual drop-in.

Singalong with Joy

Uplifting and talented performer Joy Chesna will lead a singalong of folk, rock'n’roll, and popular songs. Song suggestions are welcome. People who wish to lead songs or do solos with backup are welcome. 

Spanish-English Conversation Exchange

A general support group held in a dynamic, open, non-judgmental space for women who are seeking support in their lives.
